Creating dynamic html sitemaps in wordpress

I have come across a great plug-in that creates a dynamic HTML site map for your wordpress site or blog. We are all aware of how to create dynamic XML Sitemaps using the plug-in however a dynamic HTML site map is just as useful for User and SEO purposes.

  • Activate the plug-in, and then go to the menu on the left labeled ‘Plug Site Map’. Change the setting as required and click Save changes
  • Create a new page and call it HTML Sitemap. In HTML view paste the following code:

  • Publish the page and this should create your dynamic HTML sitemap for you and will be viewed by entering your domain followed by /sitemap
